Our Practice

Welcome to our practice. We are glad you found your way here. We realize the effort it takes to approach counseling and to find someone who is helpful to you. That is why we make it easy to have a phone call or even a short video consultation to meet with any of our staff. While we don’t claim that we are the right therapists for everyone, we do work wholeheartedly to understand and meet each person’s needs. After the consultation, if you don’t feel it’s a “good fit,” there is no obligation to schedule. You may ask if another therapist is available for a consultation if you wish. If you would like to schedule a consultation, please call, email, or use the contact page and we will get back to you within 24 hours or less.

We work with individuals who are interested in therapy to reduce their anxiety and fears or improve their ability to cope with stress at work or in relationships, improve parenting and family bonds, improve assertiveness or communication skills, or who wish to better themselves and the quality of their lives.

Teletherapy is not suitable for work with issues of self-harm and we advise seeking in-person support. Each county in Michigan has a Community Mental Health program that offers a 24-hour Crisis Support phone line and Emergency Services for psychiatric emergencies. We encourage you to call your nearest CMH if you are experiencing an urgent need. Click this hyperlink to bring you to an alphabetical listing of CMHs by county throughout the state.

The National Suicide Support line is free and available 24/7. Call 800-273-8255

Our AD

Our Approach

Our role is to assist you with gaining the insight, skills, and confidence to become your own best problem-solver. Therapy is a process that involves effort and commitment. Talking about events or circumstances in your life that bring anxious feelings is not always easy and honestly, sometimes you may feel worse after talking about those things. It takes courage to look deeply at ourselves and make changes, something most of us humans don’t easily do. But it is also incredibly relieving and empowering to understand those fears and concerns, maybe for the first time, and to feel able to resolve them with a therapist who meets you with understanding, skill, and support.

As the owner of Integrated Anxiety Management, these are the principles that guide every decision:

  • I AM committed to creating a practice that supports you, the client, with Respect, Skill and Loving-Kindness. To that end, we are constantly educating and improving ourselves, both professionally and personally.
  • I AM committed to an integrated approach to mental health that considers the interactions of your total being: emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially.
  • I AM committed to supporting the therapists who work here with a balanced, satisfying work-life so that they can meet YOU from a place of calm effectiveness.

Thank you for considering us for your therapy.
